DAMPIER DRAMATIC COMPANY.
The full cast of the first piece to be produced by tho Dampior Dramatic Company appears in our advertising column, and will no doubt prove of intereßb to playgoere. The drama itself "Hearts and Homes," is entirely new here, and has achieved a popularity that has placed it! amongst the leading dramatic successes of 1893. Some very beautiful scenery will be used together with elaborate mechanical effects. Mr Alfred Dampier appears in no leas than three distinct characters so tha'u a fine opportunity will be allorded of observing the versatility of this eminent actor. The talented and popular actress, Miss Katherine Russell, will sustain her originnl creation of Peggy, snd Miss Rose Dampier will appear in Auckland for the n'rßb time ns Amy Castleton. The company supporting Mr Dampier and MisaKatherine Russell is a tine one, and includes Mr Edmund Holloway, one of the best stock actors of the day. In a future issue we will aflord our readers detailed particulars regarding this fine production.
