Mr Iznrd has resigned the secretaryship of tho Wellington Cricket Association", and Mr Upham has been elected to till the vacancy. Tho team to represent the Wellington Crickot Club against tho Midlands in°the heat for the senior championship on Saturday will include the Hon. YV, P. Reeves and Lieutenant-Colonel Fox. During his recent visit to England, Mr W. H. Levin purchased a massive silver shield of handsome design, and has presented it to the Wellington Cricket Association. The trophy will probably be held each season by the club winning the senior championship.
