AUCKLAND AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION.
A MEETING of tho Committeo of bho Auckland Provincial Agriculbural Association was held this aftornoon, abovo Buckland's offices. Quoon-street. Mr W. P. Massey presided. Mr W. F. Lawry, lato of the Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agoncy Company, wrote stating bhab he was leaving Auckland, and resigning his position o\\ bhe Committee. Mr George Wilkin, the produce manager of the Company, was elected in his place. A voto of thanks was tendered to Mr Lawry for his pasb services.
The schedule for tho annual Show in Novembor nexb was thon considered. Somo discussion book place in reference to a heifer being considered a cow for show purposes. It was eventually resolved thato tho definition as to whab constitutes a heifer bo referred to the Christchurch Conference of agricultural delegates to be held nexb month, and thab their opinion be adopted by the Association.
