Wellington, this day. The appointment of Mr H. W. Brabant, R.M., to beR.M. for bhe disbricbof Wellingbon, wibh extended jurisdiction to £100, is gazetted. Mr W. H. Hales is duly gazetted Bngineer-in-Chief for bhe colony of New Zealand, bhe appointment to date from lab April, 1892. The election of Mr James Allen to represent Bruce in tho House of Representatives will be gazetbed to-night.
