DEPARTURES EXCEED ARRIVALS.

Wellington, this day. During the.month of April the number of arrivals were exceeded by the departures by 633, bhe respective bobals being—arrivals! 1,048; departures, 1,681. The largest totals are in connection wibh New South Wales. 525 persons leaving for that colony, ana 784 arriving from it.
