HEAVY RAINFALL AT WELLINGTON.

Wellington, this day. On Saturday, 2"6 inches of rain fell, mostly between 2 and 4 p.m. Several culverts bursb in various places, flooding the adjacenb buildings, and in the business portion of the town the water got into one or two buildings, and a good deal of damage was done by water washing away portions of gardens and streets.
