ROAD BOARD ELECTIONS.
The Eden Terrace Road Board election resulted in the return of Messrs Adam Porter, 71 •D. Menzie3, 67; G. Patterson, 65 ; J. H Garretb, 57; and J. J. Jenkins, 56. The unsuccessful candidates were J. M. Rayner, 41, and H. C. Small, 31 votes. The Mount Eden Road Board annual election resulted as follows, the first five candidates being elected:—VV. R. man, 156; W. H. Cooper, 146 ; Thomas Hanson, 119 ; Henry Hirst, 114 ; W. Keyes, 97 ; David Knibb, 68 ; G. F. Kelly, 66 ; and F. W. Boynton, 52. The result of the Arch Hill Road Board election was as follows, bhe first five candidates being elected : — James Radchne, 56 ; Henry Thompson, 46 ; C. S. Waddingham, 45 ; T. Armstrong, 43 ; G. Keeling, 37; J. T. B. Dinee, 28. The following was the result of the voting for election of five members for the Pukeatua Road Board at Dairy Flab on Saturday last: — Michael Lennan, 16 ; Charles Jeffs, 15 ; James Inglis, 14 ; Ernest A Frosb, 14; George Green, 12; Evan Bond 5. The firsb five were declared elected by Mr T. W. Seaman, who acted as returning officer.
Dr MacGregor, Inspector-General of Hospital'and Asylums, arrived from the South by the Takapuna yesterday on his periodical visit. He was occupied to-day at the Avondale institution! ,
