OUR CRICKETERS.
TO-MORROW'S MATCHES
As the Wellington cricketers havo failed to fulfil their arrangements with our cricketers, in playing to-day and Saturday, the championship matches in tho senior and first junior clashes will ba continued to-morrow on the Domain. The senior contests aro between Gordon and Parnell, , and Auckland and St. Mary's-Onylow, but j the most important fixture for Saturday is that between tho second eleven teams or j Auckland and Gordon. This match has j been looked forward to by all players j and the cricketing public for some time, and great interest is being taken in their meeting, which is tho first time this season. Auckland have an unbeaten record, while their opponents, Gordon, havo only once mot defeat. Should Auckland win tho coming match, their chance of winning the championship is almost assuied ; but on tho other hand, should Gordon gain tho victory, then Auckland, Gordon and Wanderers will be equal in tho aggregate?, and deciding matches will of course follow.
