Drunkenness.—John William Bibla waa charged with being drunk, ib being the fourth offence within six months.—The Bench sent him to Mount Eden for three months with hard labour. An old woman was fined ss, or 24 hours' imprisonment, and an old offender named Frank Smith was fined ss, or 24 houre. William Powley (on bail) was charged with being drunk at> a quarter-past ono o'clock this morning while in charge of his cab and two horses. —The defendant said he had taken a drop of drink, but was not; incapable of driving his horses.—A line of 10s, or 2$ hours' imprisonment, was imposed.

Larceny as a Bailee. — Mary Ann Mooney, alias Minnie Alooney, was charged with larceny as a bailee of one shirt, two feather pillows and covers, one shirt, and one bed qailt, of the total value of £1 3s, the property of Martha Lindsay, at Auckland.—Accused pleaded not guilty.—Oα the application of Sergeant-Major Pratt, the hoaring of the charge was adjourned till to-morrow.

No Light.—Henry Schumaker was fined 5a and coata for not keeping a proper light) attached to his spring cart in Darby-streeb on tho 3rd February.

Stray Horses.—CharlesF. Reid andJWm. Smith, for permitting horses to stray in Queen-street, Korthcote, were fined Is and costs.
