The American barque Alice, which arrived ab Wellington yesterday from Now York, is to come on up to Auckland with part cargo of American merchandise. Her cargo for this porb includes 5,000 cases kerosene.
The locally-owned blireo-maatcd schooner Waitemata, Captain Cuuipbell, which arrived at Wellington yesterday from the Kaipara, had a very stormy passage of six days. Sho returns to the Kaipara to load timber for Sydney.
Mr M. Niccol advises us thabtho schooners Welcome and Chiboor are fixed to bring down cargoes of coal from Newcastle to Auckland ; also that the locnllyrecisterod brieantine Oatnaru (Captain Richards) has just boen sold at Molbourne unknown.
The s.s. Manapouri, ],783 tons, Captain E. Wheeler, arrivod at one p.m. today from Melbourne and the South. Sho leifc Melbourne on the 20th ult., called al Hobart on the 28bh ult. and arrived at tho Bluff on the firab insb., having experienced gne weather all the way. She left Gisborne at 9 a.m. yesterday, having called at all the coastal ports, and experienced rough Weather last night.
