London, January 19. The navy will furnish a guard of honour at the funeral. The Church services will be held between two and four p.m. on Wednesday throughout the country. All official correspondence is conducted on mourning paper. The Queen unwillingly abandoned her intention of attending the funeral, after reiterating her entreaties to the Prince and Princess of Wales. The Agents-General of the colonies have sent a beautiful wreath of white' flowers and violets. The Emperor of China has sent a message of condolence. A detachment of the Uhlans and Burchers will accompany Prince Frederick Leopold, who visits England as one of the representatives of the Emperor of Germany at the funeral. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday in most of the capitals on the Continent. , The Emperor of Austria will attend that in Vienna, and in other countries most of the royalties will be represented by proxy. The Prince of Wales announces that he and the Princess are deeply grateful at the universal sympathy. The Duchess of Abercorn has returned the money subscribed in North Ireland with the Princess Mary's thanks. Villagers have been admitted to inspect the coffin in Sandringham Church. The waiters in London are appealing to public charity, owing to the cessation of festivities in consequence of the death of the Duke of Clarence. Cape, January 19. The editor of a paper in Johannesburg, who attacked the late Duke of Clarence, was set upon by a mob, and his ejectment from the Transvaal threatened. The windows of his office were smashed.
