School Pathway.-Alfred Stevens wrote asking that the pathway from the school to the firebell should bo tarred and sanded.--Mr Reynolds objected to the pathway in front of the Council room being so treated as it would only bring the children round making a fearful noise in playtime.making work difficult. It was not the play only, but tho quarrels (laughter).-Ib was .'resolved that the pathway should be done to the Council boundary. — Cr. Gay asked that tenders should be called for the painting of the firebells and Council chamber.
