The Office of the Kauri Timber Company (Limited) was the scene, at mid-day on Saturday last, of a very interesting, ceremonial. The management and clerical staff were gathered together for the purpose of presenting to Mr Edgar Ward, the Company's branches accountant, a token of their esteem for him ; the occasion oeing his aproaching marriage. The recipient acknowledged in an appreciative manner his indebtedness to all those who had so kindly remembered him. The souvenir consisted oi one set each of table, dessert, nnd tea spoons, and of dinner end desserb forks, of electro-plate over nickel silver, a __■¥£. .•.»•. and valuable present.
