Christchurch, this day. At the inquest on the girl Jane Blackmore, who died from injuries sustained ab the Raphael fire, a verdict bhab she met her death through burns was returned. The jury commended the conduct of Messrs McLean and Wabley in their endeavours to save the gin's life at bhe risk of bheir own lives. There is no clue to the origin of the fire.
