Rawene, this day. The Minister of Lands arrived at Kohukohu last nighb, afber being in the saddle 12 hours, part of which time ib rained heavily. Ab 5 o'clock this morning he etarted in bhe launch Fin gal, to inspect the upper waters and settlements around Hokianga Harbour. He returned to Kohukohu and received several deputations, and arrived here at 12 o'clock. The Minister is astonishing the people hero by the amounb of travelling and work he gets bhrough. Hotel proprietors in the districb are complaining ab bhe early hours Minisborial party demands breakfasb in the morning.
