RESIGNATION OF A COUNCILLOR-
(by telegraph.—own correspondent.};-
Thames, this day. Mr George Price has tendered his resignation as a Borough Councillor, doubts having been raised whether the firm with which he is connected can supply the Council with goods while he is a member. Messrs McConnell and Gillespie have been asked to contest the Mayoralty bub both declined. Mr Koefoed seems likely to be elected unopposed.
