INTERPROVINCIAL FOOTBALL.
AUCKLAND V. WELLINGTON.
THE MATCH TO-MORROW,
The football match between the Association players of Auckland and Wellington will take place at Potter's Paddock, Epsom, to-morrow afternoon. The Wellington team, which includes several old Home players, is reported to be a heavy as well as a very fast lob, and as they have been playing the game for the last two years, siiould be in much better form than the local eleven. The Auckland team are at a great disadvantage, as they only started playing h>j". weeks ago, bub in that bime they have displayed some very good form, and, as they have : been training hard on the Metropolitan Ground during tho week, expect to make a bold bid for victory. Tho Wellington team is expected to arrive, in the Manukau early to-morrow morning. They will stop ab the Waverley Hotel during their stay here. The colours of the respective teams will bo the same as worn by the Rugby representatives — Auckland, blue and white ; Wellington, black and gold. Messrs A. and J. S. Rowe will act as line umpires, Mr C. Gould as field umpire, and very probably Mr T. P. Upfill will officiate as referee. The teams headed by Hunter's Band will leavo tho Waverley Hotel at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, and tho kick-off will take ulace an hour later.
