An interesting question has just arisen b_v tween Servia and Bulgaria. In the summer of 1888 two railway officials and a rich, Greek merchant were capbured outside thef town of Bellova by a band of brigands, anctt carried off to the mountains. The robbera* demanded a ransom of £5,000 for their vie-, tima. The amounb was paid, and tbe tives were released. It has just now been .iiscovered that the head of the band of. brigands, Kosta Abramow, has for soma time past been living quietly on his earn-? ings in Belgrade. The robber has been, < identified by one of the railway officials and the Greek. The Bulgarian Government now demand thab, according to the E__tra4 I dition Treaty, Abramow should be up to tbem. If it can be proved that thai . brigand is a Bulgarian subjects he will ba given up at once; bub if there are any; doubts as to his nationality there will. probably be difficulties placed In the - way** of his arrest- '
