AN INJUSTICE TO OAMARU.

Oamaru, this day. At the monthly meeting of the Harbour Board yesterday it was stated the Railway Commissioners were deliberately boycotting the port by not providing trucks for imported cargo. Tho Hauroto should have arrived yesterday, bub did not come, as no trucks were available. The Treasurer telegraphed that they had collected £377, the Board's railway earnings, and asking if they should pay the amount to tho General Post Office towards overdue interest. The Chairman said .he had written that the Board would not sanction such a proceeding:, but the money had still not arrived. Ib was resolved to telegraph to the Treasury, and if the money does not 'arrive to-day a special meeting will be held to consider the matter. A Committee was appointed to draft a petition to Parliament re the attitude of the Railway Commissioners to the Board and other grietancoe.
