REGATTA AT GISBORNE.

Gisborne, this day. On Saturday morning the Auckland representative four-oar crow meets the Poverty Bay representatives on Taruheru River. The course is two miles. The Auckland crew, averaging eleven stone, is Gibbons (stroke), Steward, Minnet, Colebrook ; and the P.B. crew averages list 71b —Fox, stroke; Walters, Lee, and Sawyer. On Monday a regatta will be held, at which the crews and individuals from Auckland, Napier, and two Gisborne clubs will compete. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the annual interclub matches between Napier, Union Rowing Club (Napier), Gisborne, and Poverty Bay Clubs will take placo.
