FIRE AT THE THAMES.

A eire broke oub in an old unoccupied building situated ab the corner of Pollen and Scaly - streets' ab the Thames about 11 o'clock lasb night. The building consisted of a shop and five rooms, and belonged to James McGowan. Yesterday workmen were engaged removing the building, lb is supposed bhab bhe fire originated in a rab's nest. The fire was discovered and extinguished before much damage was done.
