THE GOVERNOR'S VISIT.

Wellington, this day,
His Excellency the Governor has abandoned his trip through tne Urewera country for the present. He will go to Lake Waikaremoana and thence to Waiotapu Valley on his way to Auckland. The Countess will probably make a trip along the northern coast in the Hinempa. .It i 3 understood the Ureweras asked the Governor tb postpone his visit till they were ready to give him a suitable reception.
