Per Mararoa, for Sydney:—3s cases sheeps' tongues, 1,363 sacks maize, 500 bundles box timber, 56 bales flax, 275 bags fungus, 28 pigs lead, 24 cases dried fish, 20 sacks quartz, 25 kegs pork, 10 cases potatoes, 4 boxes bullion, 40 coils rope, and sundries.
The s.p. Taieri arrived at Newcastle yes terday from Auckland.
The schooner Jessie Niccol, Capt. Blackwell, should be back here shortly from Rarotonga.
The s.s. Taupo arrives here from Wellington on Friday, and leaves again for Fiji on Sunday.
The schooner Olive, Captain Ross, should be showing; up here again now from the Friendly Group.
The little yacht Mascotte, 3 tons, which has just come up from Coromandel, is to be gold by auction on Saturday next by D. B. Tonks".
The New Zealand Shipping Company's new steamer Otorawa arrived at Geraldton (W.A.) on tho 23rd instant, tn route for New Zealand from London.
Messrs Henderson and Macfailane's Island steamer Archer, Captain Henry, called in at Apia (Samoa) lately from Sydney via Niue, Suwarrow Island, Manahiki and Penrhyn Islands, and left again for the Marshall Islands on a trading: cruise. She has replaced the firm's old steamer, Janet Nicoll.
