QUESTION OF PATENT RIGHT.
Argument was heard at the Police Court this morning in the case of George GJedhill, rerated water manufacturer, who was charged with having committed a breach of tne Trades Mark Registration Act, by using bottles in which a cannon was blown, that being the registered trade mark of William Handley.
Dr. Giles was on the Bench, and Mr T. Cotter appeared for the complainant and Mr T. Baume for the defendant.
The evidence, was taken at a previous sitting of the Court, whea the further hearing was adjourned for argument upon a legal point rajsed by Mr Baume. The questions were argued at great length, various authorities being cited side. Ultimately His Worship reserved judgment).
