DUNEDIN.
Ab a meeting of the Dunedin Electoral League, it was decided to submit the following platform :—(1) Liberal land administration, with the object of encouraging lona Me settlement by all possible means ; (2) opposition to further borrowing ; (3) economical administration, with the view to lighten the burdens of the taxpayers; (4) TParliamentary reform, including an elective Council, purity of elections and reform of Parliamentary procedure ; (5) expansion of local government; (6) appointment of boards of conciliation for the settlement of all trade disputes : (7) legislation of eight hours system; (8) passing of measures for the better protection of labour.
