THE MASTER CARTERS.
A COUNTER-MOVE. At a largely attended special meeting of - master carters of che city this morning, the * following resolutions were passed :—"(l) )» That in the evenb of our men declining bo carb goods from bhe Union Company's steamers, we, the members of the Master Carters' Association, combine to remove the " goods, etc , from the steamers, either byUnion men if they are willing, or by nonUnion men. (2) Thab we communicabe wibh the Secretary of tho Federated Wharf Carters, Expressmen's, and Storemen's Association, remonstrating with them for their action in refusing to receive or deliver goods from the Union Steamship Company's steamers, and informing them that we cannot see our way clear to support them in this action."
