PONSONBY YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION.
The young men of Ponsonby and friends of the proposed Association, have an opportunity of showing their interest; in this good work by attending the meeting to-morrow evening in St. Stephen's Church at half-past eeven. The Committee appointed at the former meeting will give in their report as to the proposed basis of affiliation with the Central Association. Without doubt a reading-room in Ponsonby for young men, with harmless gamee and opportunity for intellectual and evangelistic work, would be a real boon to the district, and should have the support of every well - wiener of the social and spiritual progress of Auckland. It is supposed that this movement in Ponsonby may only be the beginning of similar efiorta in other suburbs of the city.
