ARGENTINE AFFAIRS.
CELMAN RESIGNED.
Buenos Ayres, August 6. President Celman has at last yielded to the pressure, and has resigned.
A joint meeting of the Chamber and the Congress is being held to consider whether the resignation shall or shall not be accepted.
The populace threaten that they will shoot the deputies opposing the resignation. Later.
Dr. Celraan's resignation is due to military pressure. The attempt to bring about a compromise has proved futile.
