Mrs Rutherford ns Chain Shot, by Musket—Locket 1 Fidelia 2 Leonardo also ran. Leonardo jumped away in front of Fidelia, with Chain Shot bringing up the rear. Past the stand, Leonardo increased his lead, being - twenty lengths in front of Fidelia, wibh Chain Shot the same distanco away. No material change took place till the kennels were reached, when Chain Shot made his effort and passed Fidelia, but could never get near Leonardo, who appeared bo bo winning easily, when he ran off at the top of the straight, leaving Chain Shot to canter home in front of Fidelia. Time, 4_in llf sec. Dividends, £2 8s and £2 2s 6d.

Squib too k the lead at the start, followed by Littl 0 Arthur, Ahua, Darn'ey, Enterprise' and Daddy Longlegs, in thab roder The same order was kept for the fir3t time round, but at the fence opposite Cutt's, Little Arthur ran round. Ahua fell nearhome. Daddy Longlegs won an interesting race by ten lengths, with Enterprise fourth. Dividends, £3 14s 6d and £4. Weltjbr Race.
