The appointment of a Parliamentary librarian, for which there are 47 applicants, has been postponed till 31sb July.
WHANGAPOUA GOLDFIELDS.
The Goldfields Committee recommend the House to urge tbe Government immediately to resume possession, of tho Whangapoua block, now owned by the Kauri Timber Company, for goldmining purposes, under the provisions of the Act.
