EXHIBITION NOTES.
(IJY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
Dunedin, this day. Mr Scott, superintendent of the South Australian Court, intends making a tour of the colony to inspect its dairying industries in the interest of the colony he represents. Ho will start on a tour after the Christmas holidays.
A movement is on foot to induce the Premiers of all the colonies to assemble in Dunerlin about the middle of February in order to hold an informal conference on various subjects of intercolonial concern. Mr Deukin returns to Dunedin on Wednesday, and leaves for Melbourne on Tuesday following, per Mararoa.
It is likely Mr Langridge, the Victorian Commissioner, will also leave by the same boat.
• The Samoan and Tongau families will arrive in a few days and will exemplify South Sea life in the houses erected in the Gardens for their accommodation.
Saturday's attendance was 3,026 paid admission. A large crush of Australian visitors is expected this week.
