Cheistchukch, this day. The annual meeting of the Canterbury Trottiug Association was to have been held last night, butadjournedonaccount of several members being away inDuDedin. Mr W. P. Brook said he had received communication from the Colonial Secretary that clubs holding only one meeting a year need not give more than £100 in stakes.
