THE SOUTHERN CRICKET TOUR-
There hae been a fair attendance at practice on the appointed days of those players who have been requested by the Committee to get into form, with a view to selecting a team from their numbers. The team will probably bo picked about the middle of next week, and the Selecbion Committee particularly request all players who are able to leave to send in word by the end of this week if possible, so that a selecbion can be made ab once. Those who are omitted from the first selection will do well to keep in practice to meet the Sydney men.
