MYSTERIOUS DEATH.
SUPPOSED SUICIDE.
(ST TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
Nelson, this day. The body of a man unknown has been found in an unoccupied house at Maitai Valley. It was far gone in decomposition. By the side was a five-chambered revolver, one of which was fired oft. The body has nut yet been examined, so no wound has been found. There is evidence of. an attempt by deceased to smother himself ■with charcoal. On the body was a pocket mirror and a leather case, on the inside of ■which was written in pencil "Watson."
