SUICIDE OF A BANKER.
RUN ON THE BANK,
Paris, March 7, M. Rocheran, manager of the Comptoir d Eacompte of Paris, committed suicide yesterday. The news created a slight panic amongst the bank's clients, and a run on the bank took place. The excitement, however, quickly subsided.
The Rothschilds and others supported the bank during the sudden demand made upon it, and until the crisis was passed.
