OUR GOLDFIELDS.
Thames, this day. MoANATAiRi.— During the past month the tributers in this mine have crushed 132 tons of quartz /or 1630zs of gold. Gold Purchases, t-The Bank of New Zealand purchased a total of 23720zs 16dwts of gold during the month of February.
Caledonian. — Crushing is proceeding. There are 20 loads of quartz to be put tbMAY QUEEH.— Mr H. W. Moore has been appointed manager of this mine, and has invited tenders for clearing out, re-timber-ing and repairing the old City of York shaft, from which operations are to be carried on.
At the Zealandia Rink last night, the trial of speed between Messrs Rix, Eabon, Hough and Anderson, resulted in a win for Eaton. To-night is ladies' night at the Rink.
