Heavy gales are again raging on the English and Irish coasts. A building fell near Bolton to-day, crushing a number of cottages and killing six persons. At Pembroke a feiry-boab enpsized and nine persons were drowned.
London, February 9.
A furious gale prevailed in the English Channel all last night, and the weather is bitterly cold, A number of small wrecks are reported. The gale continues. Telegraphic communication is interrupted and a number of houses-have been blown down. In Scotland a, heavy snowstorm prevails and railways 'o/i} blockaded. .11 along the coast thore liifVo been numerous wrecks. A barque was lost off Grimsby and all hands were drowned.
London, February 10,
Snow continues to fall through the south of England and in Wales. On the coasts heavy gales prevail, and a number of shipping disasters are reported. Telegraphic communication is interrupted. Snowstorms also prevail throughout France and Germany, blocking the railways and interrupting telegraphic communication.
