THE SQUADRON.
At II a.m. to-day the flagship Orlando was
floated cut of dock, where she has received
a thorough overhaul and cleaning, as far as regards the exterior of tier hull. She took up her anchorage in the stream off the Railway Wharf. This morning Admiral Fairfax proceeded to Motutapu for a day's shooting.
The cricket match played in the Domain yesterday between teams representing EL M.S. Orlando and the fleet, was won by the Orlando's side.
Considerable attention was attracted __is afternoon by the manoeuvres of the small boats, cutters, etc., belonging to the Squadron: These were out shortly after noon, and in obedience to signals from the flagship executed a number of interesting and at times very pretty evolutions, going up and down the harbour and tacking here and there.
