CHARGE OF MURDER.
PRISONER ACQUITTED.
Svdndy, November 15. Tue man Thompnon, who on the 29th ult, stabbed his wile in the abdomen with a large butcher's knife, waa to-day brought up on the charge of wilful'murder. The defence set up was that tho death of the woman was accidental, ancl after hoaring evidence and the dying depositions of the woman, the prisoner was acquitted.
