DEPARTURE OF THE CRUSADER.
Shortly before 7 o'clock this morning the ship Crusader set sail and got away from her anchorage in the stream for London. A favourable breeze took the ship round the North Head shortly before 8 a.m., and started her well oii.her voyage. The Crusader takes a valuable and varied cargo for London, the total value amounting to over £25,000. The chief item is 5,302 cases kauri gum, worth £19,105. We wish Captain Perriam a safe and speedy passage Home.
