Christchukch, this day. The governing body 'of , Christ's College have informed Mr G. C. Corf, headmaster that his term of office will close on December 31st. 1889. The reason given is that they believe 14 or 15 years is long enough for'the besb qualified man to hold such an appointment. Mr Corf has been connected with the school since 187].
