The work went on satisfactorily until I obtained from the architect a certificate for progress payment, which was presented, iihcl'tliei money hob being forthcoming, the works were stopped, I mayalsbsay that within a week of stbpphig additional work to the amount of £30. was ordered in writing. It is also incorrect 'that' they cpuld-not find.' the money, as I ofleredit myself at 7 per cent., but they could not pay more than 6 per cent^ for being a Forester myself up to this -time, I did not wish to tarnish the good name of the Order. —I am, etc, ' Thos.
