MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE.

Cambridge, this day. A great sensation has been caused in town by the disappearance of the accountant of the Colonial' Bank-hero. He is a young man, and left town on horseback on Saturday morning, and has nofc since been heard of. He left a noto behind, saying that the accounts at the bank were wrong, and he intended committing suicide. The police do not think<he contemplates doing so, and have taken the necessary steps for his capture. The accountant had made himself very popular, and everyone regrets the step he has taken.
