ARRIVAL OF THE WAINUI.
The R.M.s. Wainui, 640 tons, G. Crawshaw, arrived to-day from Fiji Islands. She left Levuka ab 12 midnight on the Cth inst., arriving at Suva at 6 a.m. on the 7th. Loaded transhipments ex s.s. Southern Cross from Tonga and Windward Islands, embarked cargo, mails, and passengers, and left at 4.30 p.m. ; passed Mount Washington at 11 p.m. s*me date, sighted Poor Knights at 4.15 a.m.- on the 12th, passed Tiritiri at 12.15 p.m., and arrived along.ide wharf at 1.55 p.m. Experienced fresh south - east winds till 10th, thence fine weather to arrival. Passengers :—For Auckland: Miss Moir, Professor Herbert, Messrs Drake, Waite, Barrie, White, Marshall, and Havord. For Sydney :Mr Brown For New Plymouth : Mr King. For Wellington :Mr Reeve.
