For Sydney: 145 packages. For Wellington : 1,383 packages. For Lyttelton: 47 packages. For Dunedin :33 packages. For Melbourne: 206 packages.
The barque Mercia discharged 5 tons of powder she had on board into lighters this morning. She was towed up this afternoon and berthed at the Queen-street Wharf.
The following Auckland people have booked passages to Sydney by the s.s. Tarawera, which leaves this afternoon at 5 o'clock : Mesdames Newburn, nurse and family (2,) Snodgrass, Lyon and family [6_, G. H. Deniston, Messrs Newburn, J. R. Randerson, A. M. Mackay, F. Swinburne, F. G. White, H. R. Parker, Wallace, T. J. Hill, G. H. Deniston, F. Sanft, W. Woolfgramme, Snodgrass, G. R. Walker, Lincoln, H. Johnstone, E.
