Tho Union Company's s.s. Wanaka, Captain O'.nt, from the South, arrived at 5.30 yesite day morning.' Passengers :Mr and Mrs -Ai.tdon, Misses Gilmore (2), Revs. Gilmoru and Driver, Messrs Evelyn, Mathieson, McKenzie, Fry, Ren-haw, Clapcott, and 12 steerage.
The s.s. Gairloch, for Waitara, took her departure at 1 o'clock to-day with cargo and passengers.
The Northern Company's s.s. Gairlocli, from Waitara, arrived this morning with 350 sheep, 84 cattle, 23 boxes? butter, 10 packages and the following passengers : — Misses Necdham, Ramsay, Messrs Denoze, Sounders, Murray, H. King, Witt and 1 native.
