The cricket match, Vernon's Eleven v. Eleven of South Australia, was resumed to-day. The visitors continued their second innings, which closed for 291 runs. Abel and Newton (not out, 41) being the principal scorers. The home team, who required 278 runs to win, then commenced their second innings, and at the conclusion of the day's play had secured 93 runs with the loss of one wicket.
