OVERTAKEN BY JUSTICE.
(by te__graph—press association.)
Wellington, this day. A man was arrested last night on the charge of stealing four pounds of sausages from the steamer Wanaka. When a constable arrived he found his man lying on the wharf with the goods under his arm, and it turned out that in trying to get away he had broken his ankle and so fallen a victim to justice.
