The Supplementary Rolls.

Sir, —In reading the various paragraphs under the heading of " Election Notes " in your last issue, there appears a very strange contradiction. We are told in the first that Mr Shera's Committee has got through the whole of the supplementary roll, and in the last paragraph we are informed that these very same rolls will not be open for inspection until next week. I would like to know, Mr Editor, how Mr Shera's Committee can obtain a copy of a roll which other persons are not even permitted to inspect ? Perhaps you can enlighten your readers upon a subject which is so deeply interesting just now.—l am, etc., An Elector of City Wkst.
