SUPPOSED LOSS OF THE RECAMIA.

No News of the Missing Vessel

No definite information of the fate of the ketch Recamia has yet come to hand, bub little doubt is entertained that she capsized outside the Tory Shoal, as mentioned in our first telegram. The wind since Wednesday has been blowing offshore, and consequently no wreckage has been washed up where ib could be identified. Previous statements led to the conclusion that Captain Kulse was on his first trip to Kaipara. We learn, however, that the Recamia was under charter to convey three cargoes of timber from Helensville to New Plymouth. She had completed her second voyage, and was returning to load for the third and final trip when the supposed casualty occurred.

(by telegraph.—own correspondent./

Te Kopuru, this day.

Fears are entertained for the safety of the Recamia, ketch, due from New Plymouth on Wednesday evening. The ketch was seen in the break off the bar by the lighthouse keeper. She disappeared as if capsized. Nothing was seen next morning, and no wreckage has come ashore, but the late south and south-east winds would prevent it coming in. .
